Restaurant Villa Nova. Assignment: to give the diningroom a less formal atmosphere. The figures -based on the painter Rockwell- on second glance, do not behave quite like they ought to. The mural is painted like 'a colored old photograph', to not to appear too bright or demand too much attention.

Kerst decoratie voor een Cafe. Boerke Verschuren's gevel verandert jaarlijks in een 'Kerststal'. Een 3,5 meter hoge Santa zit tussen de bomen, wuivend met een biertje.

Restaurant keten De Bengel vroeg ons een nostalgische schildering te maken boven de lambrizeringen van hun restaurants. Oude dorpsgezichten van oa Eersel en Eindhoven. 16x0,80 mtr.

This ' family' restaurant in an old village central square commissioned us to "do something" with the walls above the high dark wooden paneling. We proposed a decorative scenery of an outdoors farmer's meal and along the opposite wall the original Village Square as it was around 1870 . Total size 16 x 0,80 mtr.

Christmas decor for a pub. Boerke Verschurens' exter-ior is changed annually into a Christmas crib. Thousands of tiny lights flicker in the Christmas- trees placed on the roof. Sundblom's 3,5 meter high copy of Santa sits among the trees, slowly waving his cool beer by means of a tiny motor. Breda, Holland
